Writing in Journalism.co.uk,Oliver Tuft predicts that we are less than two years away from a colour tablet for newspapers and magazines which could be carried around with us.
This technology and the proliferation of wireless networks has always been the prerequisite for the paper newsprint with its ease of readerbility.
According to Mike Wilson general manager of Fujitsu Europe,
The first application will be as electronic labels for supermarkets and
that will start next year, with much smaller screens but the same technology in
colour."
