Can't even give them away

Follow the media has an interesting article on how relevent newspapers are to the younger generation.

The article tells the stor of a father and son in a hotel lobby which was giving away free newspapers. The son has no interest as for him television and the internet give him all the news that he requires.

To Dad this was a shocking state of affairs, and yet son didn’t really seem
ignorant of the city, state, world around him. Indeed, he seemed to know more
about some news events than even old Dad. It’s just that newspapers are not a
part of son’s life any more. When he was a teen newspapers didn’t cater to his
needs (maybe the sports section did but that was about it!) so he weaned
himself away and sought out information mediums that did tell him what he wanted
to know about “his” world.
