Staying with blogging and citizen journalism,Martin Moore asks

Please stop calling us citizen journalists

Arguing that :

"While 'citizen' may be supposed to distinguish amateurs from professionals it actually gives the impression of being a stage on from 'journalism', suggesting bloggers/vloggers doing what they do for political or social reasons"

Whereas the reality is that,, according to Martin bloggers see themselves, far from being a journalist ,but more as a hobby writing about life and experience.

Whilst I share some of the sentiments with Martin that it is wrong to lump all bloggers into the catagory of journalists,I beleive that many bloggers are using the medium to act as a low cost entry into journalism and this is one of the advantages of the internet.I think that we all deep down have a desire to publish
