Some days I just have to sound off about the subjects that the national's pick for their leads.
It is the local elections this morning,the French elections on Sunday,our security services are on the defensive after Monday's Old Bailey verdict,and the Israeli government is about to fall after getting it wrong about a war.
The Sun though decides that an overpaid goalkeeper who saved a couple of penalties to put his team in the Champions league final and had his car stolen and burnt is the most important story.
And my old buddy the Daily Express,as a bank holiday approached decides the most important thing is to tell me the weather forecast and that there will be traffic jams on the roads....
