I have just received my email inviting me to join the BBC I-player experiment and have been at work installing it onto my PC.Despite some of the comments being banded around it was a straightforward thing to do,taking no more than about 5 minutes of my time.
What does take the time though is downloading the programmes.(Note to myself-must try and sort out a faster broadband connection.)
A thirty minute programme(Life in the Freezer) has taken about an hour and 10 MINS to download.
That was the easy bit.Now I try to play the programme and all I get is a 10 sec trailer and a message saying that I haven't got a licence.I went to the message board but am blown away with the technical jargon about which version of explorer and media player that I have got.
Can anyone help???????
