It was great to here the dulcet tones of John Peel last night in an excellent two hour documentary on Radio One which is celebrating 40 years along with the other 3 main stations.
It is such a pity that his death denied him the chance to celebrate in person.
The programme though left us in doubt that he was one of the best Dj's that we will ever have the pleasure of listening to.
