All raring to go at the G20

The Economist's Bagehot details a good description of the media circus surrounding the G20

There are about 5,000 journalists squatting in a giant warehouse, having made it through the multiple rings of security, typing their reports about the imminent boost to the IMF, the mooted cap on bankers' pay, the forthcoming salvation of the universe, etc.
but the problem is that

there isn't really anything to write about yet.........

the reporters have nothing much to do except interview each other about hypothetical outcomes, eat the generous free food (the hospitality must have cost enough to bail out a niche West Midlands manufacturer) and pretend to be busy.
