What the wave can do for journalism-tell you what I want an invite

I keep hearing about the google wave with people especially on twitter complianing that either they haven't been invited,or are there more invites to come out etc etc etc.

Well what can this device do for journalism?

Thanks to Martin Stabe,I have found this article in the LA Times which explores some of the possibilities. This is how it is going to help them

1.Through collbaorative reporting recognising that

double bylines aren't very common. That's because trying to co-author a news story stinks.

2.The ability to record and archive interviews:

If Google connects its Voice calling service to Wave, we might be able to easily insert call recordings, voicemails and text messages into our notes.

3.For Live editing

clearly marks updates to documents and lets you view a timeline of changes. Eventually -- once Google adds the feature -- users will be able to revert to a specific point in time. And the most passionate writers could watch live as editors tweak documents and respond to questions or changes.

4.Discuss while you read

5.Making the writing process transparent

6.the ability to carry out instant polls

Yes all sounds good please send me an invite
