Chowdary-Is the Sun simply fuelling the anger?

This morning's Sun has another front page splash about the Muslim cleric Anjem Choudary.

His proposed march through the streets of Wootton Bassett has quite rightly been roundly condemned by all sides and it seems likely that the Home Secretary will block any attempts.

But is the Sun merely fueling the hate campaign?

Writing on Independent minds yesterday Ian Burrel says that

The Sun gives someone who Mehdi Hassan of the New Statesman calls "a publicity-seeking extremist windbag" a platform on one medium and calls for him to be silenced in another. Double standards because, of course, Choudary is a bogeyman who gives The Sun the kind of copy it loves.
