Iranian picture wins the world press photo award

The winners of the World Press Photo awards have been announced and the top prize has gone to Italian photographers Pietro Maaturzo with his iconic picture of a women shouting in protest from a rooftop in Iran during last years elections.

The competition attracted over 10,000 entries from 6,000 photographers.
