I spent this weekend in great company in the City of Lincoln.It is the weekend of the Xmas markets and unfortunately the beautiful old quarter is turned into a human sheep pen as green jacketed marshalls bark instructions to the shopping pilgrims as they shuffle around a pre defined route.
Managed though to take a walk inside the magnificant cathedral and stroll in the grounds for a while.
