It looks like Sky is playing dirty tricks on its rival Virgin Media.Launched in ablaze of publicity earlier this month,Virgin has been told that Sky will pull its major channels off its platform from the end of this month.
According to Sky this is simply that they can not reach agreement on a the price of a new distribution deal.
Virgin claim this is one upmanship
The nature of these negotiations leads us to believe that this outcome has been deliberately engineered by Sky in order to suppress competition and coerce Virgin Media's customers into switching to its service by denying them access to the basic channels,"
Says a virgin spokesman.
