Paper uses mobile picture for front page lead

The London bombings apart,I believe the first case of a newspaper using a mobile phone picture on its front page occured yesterday. The Press Gazette reports that the

"Times reader Paul O'Brien used his mobile phone to the capture the image of a woman being rescued from the River Clyde by a military helicopter."

No Evening Times photographers were on the scene but — out of the dozens who turned out to watch the rescue in progress — six people emailed photographs in from their phones.
