Too many cheap newspapers

I will look in more detail at the Media Guardian Changing Media Summit but a lead story on Press Gazette reports that the Guardian's deputy commercial editor believes that there are too many newspapers and they are too cheap.

But on the psitive side he believes that the newspaper future is bright but will probably be via video

"Today that means giving them 2,000 words on a piece of paper but in the future it will probably be in video. It's about changing our outlook to meet our consumers‚ needs.”
