OnLine Journalism prospering

The BBC'S editors blog asks whether small scale Indenpendent oline journalism is a threat to the larger news organisations such as (well the BBC.)

It talks about a website set up to cover Norwich City.

The site has been a success attracting local coverage and more importantly local advertising.it is one of those examples where a site can specialise on a subjecta and contain focus and expertise and yes it will be a threat to the larger organisations who have simply not got the resources to concentrate on such in depth analysis.

A good example of how journalism can prosper in a niche market.
