First it was congestion charges,themn bins but now Olympic logo's as practically all the papers jump on the band wagon this morning.

The Sun and the Times claim that watching it can give you epilepsy

"THE controversial 2012 London Olympics logo was rocked by another blow last night — after it was ruled too dangerous to view on-screen.
An animated version of the symbol used on TV and the internet had to be dropped because it could trigger fits in thousands of people.
The £400,000 logo, a graffiti-style spelling of 2012 in shades of pink, blue, green and orange, was branded “hideous” when it was launched on Monday.
And Olympics bosses were left squirming with embarrassment after an epilepsy group reported 12 cases of people collapsing through looking at it."

For the Mail the logo is an insult

Tory MP Philip Davies, who sits on the culture, media and sport select committee, said he would table a Parliamentary motion calling for organisers to scrap the jagged emblem based on the date 2012.
Mr Davies added: "It is incredible that someone has been paid £400,000 to come up with this load of garbage."
The row deepened after London Mayor Ken Livingstone refused to back the contentious pink and orange logo.

The Telegraph comes up with its own designs

the logo has been compared to a Nazi Swastika and even the infamous SS symbol.

The Indy says

Others have compared the image to a "toileting monkey" or a "broken swastika". Peter O'Connor, one of the thousands of petitioners calling for the logo to be scrapped, said: "Trying to defend something which is as despised as this logo is not only foolish but totally unprofessional." Another, Susan Ward, from London, complained that "it fails to communicate what it is meant to be".
