It looks like Johnson Press embracing the concept of the niche community media.According to a report on Press Gazette,the Comapny is launching a free publication targeting commuters in Oxfordshire.

"Johnston Press chief executive Tim Bowdler told Press Gazette that the company will continue rolling out free commuter and weekly titles targeted at micro-communities throughout the year.

He said: “What we are trying to do in broad terms is pinpoint people in the community, whether they’re commuters, students or just local people.”
