I found the front page of this morning's Times particularly harrying.
It leads with a report that the government is planning
The most extensive liberalisation of abortion laws for 40 years is being planned by MPs,
MPs will propose that women be allowed to seek an abortion on the basis of informed consent – dropping the requirement for two doctors’ signatures – and perform the second stage of a medical termination at home rather than at a hospital or clinic.
It was the picture that accompanied it showing an unborn baby n underneath a graph of the number of abortions.
Powerful stuff in what is likely to be an emotive debate
