Wales has to wait for its Welsh language National Newspaper

Intersting news that the palns for a Welsh language national newspaper have been scrapped.

The paper,Y Byd, was due to launch next month with the backing of the Welsh assembly and its editor Alun Price claimed that it would
revolutionise journalism in Welsh


The Welsh assembly is being blamed for the scrapping according to Press Gazette

Ned Thomas, the company's chairman, claimed the Assembly Government was not fulfilling its commitment to expanding funding and support for Welsh-language press
