French media commentators have been given an insight into how papers are atempting to manage their economic problems.
Staff at Le Monde have leaked an internal document in which the paper outlines its plans for reorganisation.
In a nutshell it is looking to cut around a thousand pages over a year including its culture and book section.
It is looking to merge desks and will cut 129 jobs with staffers on the daily paper expected to write for its weeekend magazine as well.
