Iam interested in getting the new 3g apple iphone on july 11th. Just to share an expirience:
I found a way to download YouTube movies. Some of are sites where you put the url from YouTube and it gives you file with strange extension and small size. Some are really complicated.
My way was to use moviesherlock (moviesherlock.com or sm like this - please ask me - will rememeber). Really simple utility, that just works, and only 1 button in software.

Who knows - youTube results are same for same text? I likes cat (Simons cat / dog).
Why doesn't youtube allows to download its movies without external tools?!! It actually sucks!

I used different youtube rippers - free or paid, and I was impressed with possibility to download and convert streaming videos and play them on any devices. Then I have done some searches and found really awesome application that totally changed my view! I prefer to watch movies online and I know a lot of sites with online video sharing - Pandora, Hulu, Youtube etc. But even if you find web site with free music videos online you cannot download online video to your PC withot special downloaders. Ihave an iTunes account user and I have gigabites of itunes files on my hard drive. Of course I used to listen to them on iPod.
