David Lazarus cites the decision of Eastman Kodak Co who will begin charging for its previously free online photo-storage service.
Kodak's move makes me think about all the ostensibly free services I take for granted online -- and how vulnerable I and millions of others would be if those service providers decided to charge for what they offer.
And the obvious ones? Well cash machines, email accounts, social networking sites, need I go on.
What would happen if the likes of google, yahoo etc started charging. Why after all should we expect to get these services for nothing?
