Crewe Chronicle calls Coleen's bluff

A few weeks ago,I commented on the news that Coleen McLoughlin had put her occupation as a journalist whilst submitting her wedding banns.

Well now the Crewe Chronicle has taken her up on the claim.How Do reports that

Wayne Rooney’s fiancée has turned down the opportunity for paid work experience at the Crewe Chronicle.
Coleen McLoughlin recently created a stir in media circles by listing her occupation as journalist at Crewe Register Office when she submitted her wedding banns.
The twenty two year old reportedly earns decidedly more than your average hack at around £100,000 for a column in Closer Magazine.
Chronicle news editor Antonia Merola said: "We had to go through her agent – she said thanks for the offer but was really busy with the wedding.

Let's hope that it devotes the same amount of time to real journalists
