Journalists in the NUJ chapel at the Daily Express and Daily Star have waged a uniquely brave and consistent campaign against their racist proprietor, the pornographer Richard Desmond. An inspiration to all journalists, time and again they have beaten back the papers' owners and managers.
But now Desmond and editor Peter Hill are using their control over the paper in a sustained campaign to whip up racism once again.
