Slump in advertisng revenues for Johnson Press

Johnson Press have just released their latest figures on advertising and it makes poor reading.

Advertising sales for the 44 weeks to the beginning of October show a drop of 15.5% compared with the previous year.Print advertising fell by over 17% but online revenues are up by 36% but have shown a slowing down in recent weeks in line with the general economic climate.

there were year-on-year declines in property of 48.4%, employment 32.1%, motors 24.3%and display 12.1% on a like-for-like and constant currency basis
